These machines symbolize freedom and entitle you to a membership in the Harley Owners Group (HOG). In 2020, Harley-Davidson will offer its fans even more quality motorcycles than it did before.

The company’s new product range combines cutting-edge technology with a classic design. As part of its More Roads strategy, Harley-Davidson intends to produce even more technologically advanced motorcycles. Application Of New Technology

Thanks to cooperation with the world’s top technology companies, Harley-Davidson is continuously introducing advanced technologies in its manufacturing processes. Its new electronic systems will allow bikers to personalize their driving experience while remaining in close touch with other bikers.

H-D Connect technology, which works with the Harley-Davidson smartphone app, makes it possible to not only plot a route and determine a location but also provides the biker with key information on the motorcycle’s condition. It allows them to remotely monitor their motorcycle’s safety status, including receiving notifications of hijacking attempts and getting assistance with its search. By using this system, the biker can also quickly find the nearest gas or charging station.

The Reflex Defensive Rider System (RDRS) is designed to improve traction control by taking into account the roll angle and brake pressure. The enhanced cornering anti-lock braking system (C-ABS) helps cope with the imbalance and improves control of the bike on a slippery road. The Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System (C-TCS) prevents the rear wheel from slipping during acceleration on straight roads and a sudden change of the road surface.

The Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DSCS) stops the bike from locking caused by regenerative braking on wet or slippery roads. This system is activated at a speed of 15 miles per hour and works in conjunction with the antilock braking system.

The Boom! Box GTS infotainment system allows the biker to get navigation information and stay in touch with other riders. The Daymaker LED headlight makes it possible to illuminate the road, while LED direction indicators, brake light, and parking light make the bike more visible on the road.

The new line-up of motorcycles will combine all the above functionality with a unique style and enhanced safety. Some of the new models that Harley-Davidson has already presented include the all-electric LiveWire bike, Low Rider S, and CVO Tri Glide tricycle.

LiveWire Electric Bike

The bike is equipped with the Twist-And-Go System. The electric motor does not use the clutch or gearbox, which significantly simplifies driving for beginner bikers. The LiveWire has a regenerative braking function which makes it possible to recharge the vehicle’s high-voltage battery on the go. This is especially useful during traffic jams which require bikers to frequently start and stop their vehicles. Launched in 2019, this is the first electric motorcycle that has no clutch. The LiveWire bike can already be purchased at selected Harley-Davidson official dealerships in the US, Canada, and several European countries at a retail price of $29,799 and up. The company plans to make it available worldwide by 2020-2021.

Thanks to its H-D Revelation System, the LiveWire demonstrates excellent acceleration performance. The biker does not need to squeeze the clutch or use the gearbox — all they have to do is simply turn the accelerator handle.

An optimized gravity center, robust aluminum frame and adjustable premium suspension components make the LiveWire really easy to handle. Being able to travel 200 miles on a single charge, it is an ideal vehicle for use in urban conditions.

Having a weight of 249 kg, the bike accelerates to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Thanks to its 105 hp electric engine powered by a 15.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, the motorcycle demonstrates outstanding overtaking dynamics at all speeds. It takes 12.5 hours to charge from a regular household outlet and only one hour at an express terminal.

Low Rider S

Low Rider S

In terms of the overall design, the new Low Rider S has much in common with its 1970 predecessor. With its high steering wheel, mini fairing, solo saddle, and the predominance of black and chrome colors, it is reminiscent of the famous California beach style. The bike’s price starts from $18,000.

This brand new and powerful cruiser has a dual dashboard on the tank, a visor over the headlamp, and aluminum alloy wheels. What makes it really stand out is the absence of rear shock absorbers, as well as the presence of a solid frame spanning from the steering column to the rear wheel axis. Unlike the previous models, the frame’s inclination angle has been reduced from 30 to 28 degrees, thus allowing for more intuitive driving.

The developers focused primarily on improving driving performance, which is why the bike is really easy to handle and control. The Softail suspension design and 1,868 cc Milwaukee-Eight engine make it possible to develop sufficient torque to easily negotiate ramps and quickly overtake other vehicles.

The inverted front fork design improves control accuracy, while single-cartridge technology ensures a tight fit of the front wheel and increases steering and braking efficiency. The model is also equipped with a one-inch steering wheel mounted on 4-inch risers.

CVO Tri Glide

CVO Tri Glide

The CVO Tri Glide is a high-tech custom tricycle that combines all the features of premium-class bikes. Its Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 117 has a cylinder capacity of 1,868 cc, which makes it the most powerful engine ever installed in motorcycles. The Tri Glide provides bikers with a completely new traction control system that directs power exactly where it is needed, thus helping to ensure full control in any riding situation. The price starts at $59.000.

Lexan air deflectors and a cleverly designed air duct make traveling over long distances much more comfortable. Thanks to premium suspension technology, Reflex anti-lock brakes, a new infotainment system, electronic cruise control, and a storage compartment of 192 liters, bikers are guaranteed to have long and unforgettable trips.

The bike’s H-D Revelation System minimizes engine vibration, prevents overheating, and reduces excessive noise. After starting, the engine begins to generate a barely perceptible throbbing rumble which stops when the motorcycle starts moving. It is worth noting that it has long become Harley-Davidson’s signature sound.
